As a culmination of my journey at Abbey Road Institute, I stepped into the role of head engineer for a dynamic funk fusion band, entrusted to immortalize their artistry at Studios 301 in December 2021.My focal point lay in faithfully capturing the band's distinct sonic identity, skillfully wielding outboard gear and effects to elevate the recording to transcendent heights. Beyond capturing, I undertook the intricate task of expertly mixing and masterfully polishing the track, ensuring it resonates with the same energy and passion that infused the studio that day.
